From cardboard
cars to automotive
engineering.
As a kid, I was always taking things apart to see how they worked. I used to take motors and remote-control parts from broken toys and try to build my own cardboard cars. I liked figuring things out, building something and seeing if I could make it work. Later, I wanted to understand the electronics and code too.
I followed that interest through a double-degree programme at ESIGELEC and Cranfield University, where I studied embedded systems engineering and automotive mechatronics.
Motorsport brings together much of what excites me, from the technology and the sound of the engines to racing lines and strategy. What I enjoy about engineering is that there is always something new to learn and a different project to get involved in. I would also love to work in other countries and travel as part of my job.
Motorsport engineering is still often seen as a man’s world. Through my work, I want to challenge that perception and encourage more girls to see themselves in technical roles.

- Managed the society budget and financial follow-up.
- Supported logistics for karting, sim racing tournaments, career talks and circuit-related events.
- Helped organise events, partnerships and member engagement throughout the year.
ESIGELEC sports association organising weekly sports sessions, equipment access, student coaches, matches and supporter travel throughout the year.
- Secured 2 sponsors and built 13 partnerships to support association activities.
- Managed merchandising logistics and sports jersey design with the supplier.
- Contributed to equipment inventory, daily office duties and sports material access from September to July.
- Supported match logistics, student transport and repeated trips between Rouen and Caen for inter-school events.
ESIGELEC supporters’ association coordinating student supporters for sports matches, school events and major external competitions.
- Worked with the treasurer to organise and run the association’s events, sharing most of the planning and operational responsibilities between us.
- Coordinated supporters with the Students’ Sports Office for school matches and events.
- Handled supporter registrations, logistics and equipment purchases for major external events.
Contributed to the decorations team for one of the largest student galas in Normandy, requiring a strong visual impact with limited time and budget.
- Designed and built handmade decorations around a late-defined event theme.
- Worked with limited resources, using recycled materials such as cardboard to create a polished result.
- Supported venue preparation and visual setup across two editions of the Gala.
ESIGELEC cooking association organising student food-related events, buffets and cultural activities for the school community.
- Completed a full inventory and supported association administration.
- Helped organise the buffet for the final-year ceremony with at least 150 students plus staff.
- Participated in an international day event, cooking for the school to introduce French food.
